Our client is hiring a Vice President, Client Operations in Stamford, CT (Hybrid) to lead SMA account onboarding, oversee daily contributions and withdrawals, and drive operational improvements. Ideal candidates have experience with RIA onboarding, tax-sensitive investment products, and client account management. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with legal, business development, and engineering teams, along with strong Salesforce skills and a hands-on, strategic mindset. Vice President, Client Operations, Client Service & Management:
Provide high-touch support to RIA clients and internal teams, ensuring timely communication and exceptional service delivery.
Account Onboarding & Cash Flow Oversight:
Manage new account setup for Flex SMA strategies and oversee daily contributions, withdrawals, and transfers.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with Business Development, Legal, and Portfolio Implementation to streamline onboarding and cash flow processes.
Operational Excellence:
Resolve firm-wide operational inquiries and support the launch of complex investment strategies.
Process Improvement & Project Leadership:
Drive automation efforts, optimize workflows with Engineering, and lead cross-functional strategic initiatives. Qualifications for the
Vice President, Client Operations:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Experience:
5-8 years of experience in client operations or client service within asset management, with a focus on SMAs, RIAs, or hedge fund structures.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Salesforce, with preferred knowledge of Tax SMAs, margin agreements, onboarding workflows, billing, and Excel.
