DESCRIPTION
The In-House CSR will be a full-time on-site position and is responsible for the day to day operations of customer satisfaction with conformity to established guidelines as much as possible .
SKILLS NEEDED
Must possess and develop essential Customer Service skills Must accurately and efficiently process incoming sales orders Must collect applicable payments and apply sales tax ruling in their order processing Must be accountable and self-motivated team member Previous Flooring Industry experience preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serve as reception for LW Flooring’s main service telephone line by channeling calls to respective departments/recipients as needed Answer various customer inquiries regarding product information and availability, pricing, order follow-ups, and account or order issues Utilize inventory software system to verify product availability and order status, updating necessary information as applicable; monitor SAP dashboard regularly and take action accordingly to resolve pending items as needed Verify accuracy of customer accounts and product information, performing additional verification if further information is required; enter information in the computer system and file documents accordingly for future reference Receive and process Customer Purchase Orders by entering them in the inventory software system (SAP) accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate shipping schedules with customers and forward orders to the Shipping Department once completed Verify/double-check entered orders for accuracy Maintain records of interactions with customers in an orderly manner and update the department and management of any ongoing issues Update/modify customer information as needed with close coordination with customers and other departments Collaborate with fellow departments, sales reps, vendors and warehouse locations to find solutions for customer issues and concerns and resolve matters in a timely manner Prepare purchase orders in the inventory software system for outside vendor drop ship items when needed; follow up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure order fulfillment Receive and process various customer payments, forwarding to the Billing Department when applicable Relay system alert message/s to customers when processing orders and be able to justify or channel inquiries when needed Gather and address valid issues/concerns in the CS workflow to the next level of command for consideration of solution Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential Perform other tasks outside their regular duties from time to time as a team member of LW Flooring;

Contribute to the improvement and implementation of customer service policies to reach highly efficient and outstanding service; filter evident issues or conflicts in dealing with customers and present a resolution for further discussion and analysis Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This position works in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers. Environment may be noisy from time to time. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position between the hours of 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
