Customer Service RepresentativeRequirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in Personal Lines insurance and familiarity with customer databases or comparable technology preferred
• Obtain a Florida Personal Lines or General Lines license
• Interest in using and promoting innovation and technology; excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and customer service skills; written, verbal, and listening skills; analytical thinking and decision-making skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office software and insurance databases
• Build relationships with policyholders and agentsPhysical Demands
• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, including the use of stairs
• Occasionally lift light objects (less than 25lbs.
• Occasionally required to bend, twist, or stoop to open/close cabinets or reach for files.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer experiences by supporting and empowering agents and policyholders
• Navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy to deliver service
• Research and identify solutions using advanced computer-based resources
• Work in a paperless environment, prioritizing customer privacy and security
• Learn and apply multiple underwriting guides and manuals
• Review completed inspections and make decisions on insurance risks
• Process acceptable risks through our system and prepare necessary documents for those that are not
