Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated “A” Level Technician to join our expanding service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations across a variety of powersports vehicles. A strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency is essential to ensure our customers receive top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and boats. Manage multiple service orders efficiently, meeting or exceeding productivity targets. Identify and resolve mechanical issues accurately, minimizing repeat repairs. Collaborate effectively with service advisors to ensure clear and accurate communication with customers. Determine necessary parts for repairs and coordinate promptly with the Parts Department. Adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and Route 1 Motorsports’ quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all dealership tools and equipment are properly cared for.
Qualifications:
Experience in a powersports or motorsports service facility a plus. Possess a set of tools required for diagnostics and repairs. Proficient in computer skills; experience with Lightspeed EVO DMS is a plus. Familiarity with OEM warranty and service processes is advantageous. High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a Motorcycle Training Institute is preferred. OEM certifications are highly desirable, including but not limited to: Yamaha (PWC, Jet Boats, ATV, UTV, Motorcycles) Polaris (ATV, UTV, Slingshot) Can-Am (ATV, UTV, Spyder) Sea-Doo PWC Scarab Boats
Manitou Pontoons Compensation & Benefits:
Performance-based pay with bonus opportunities; top performers have the potential to earn $80,000 – $100,000+ annually . Also offering sign-on bonus based on experience.
Standard work schedule:
Tuesday – Saturday ; optional additional hours on Monday. Employee discounts on units, parts, and accessories.
