In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and maintaining a positive shopping environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key to your success in this position. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking items as necessary. Address customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, utilizing effective phone etiquette when needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the overall customer experience. Skills Proven sales experience, preferably in a retail environment. Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base. Strong cash handling abilities with attention to detail in transactions. Experience with product demonstrations and upselling techniques is highly valued. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective customer interactions. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with grocery store operations is beneficial but not required.
