Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently using the cash register, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests to enhance their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils after each use. Manage time effectively to ensure all tables are attended to promptly during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in a server or customer service role is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Proficient in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
