Job Description
Dispatcher – Customer Service $21hr 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Deerfield Beach, FL 33443 To work with a very stable and famous corporation in the business of the construction, located in Deerfield Beach (Corporate offices), our client is looking for several Dispatchers/Customer Service , preferable bilingual (English and Spanish) Scheduled is Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm or 9pm to 6am) Pay rate: $20/$21 hour. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
DISPATCHER
Successfully complete training in concrete manufacturing and customer service (provided). Comply with all company’s Safety Policies, attend department and site safety meetings, and participate in safety committees and programs (Near miss reporting, STAs, Workplace Exams, Pre-Shift Inspections, etc.) Responsible for order taking, scheduling, dispatching, and customer relations. Maintain efficient delivery controls through proper scheduling and accurate order entry into the dispatch system.• Monitor external factors such as weather and traffic to ensure optimized routing of resources. Resolve transportation conflicts and handle unusual and difficult customer complaints. Provide customer support to ensure maximum satisfaction. Employ problem-solving techniques to resolve complex issues. Develop professional criteria of when to engage other parties. Have a positive attitude and strong communication skills with customers and other departments. Able to work in a team setting and achieve team and company goals. Able to multi-task and complete daily workload in a timely fashion. Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and outside agencies’ personnel. Works safely with a sense of urgency. Other duties as required. Safety awareness and a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
DISPATCHER
Must have an associate degree or concrete dispatch experience. Safety focused and able to participate in safety-centered work culture. Logistics experience of moving products from Point A to Point B and 1-3 years of experience in a Dispatch Call-Center is preferred. Excellent communication skills with professional decorum over the phone, as well as written. Embracement and enhancement of performance-based Safety Culture Strong mathematical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively. Problem Solving, Decision-Making, and Critical-Thinking skills. Attention to detail, ability to stay organized and work independently. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong time management and strong organizational skills are required. Experience with Final Mile is a plus. Minimal travel when needed Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Must be able to speak, read and write English and Spanish. Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and be able to lift 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
