Front of House Staff Member Responsibilities Provide guest-oriented service with engaging, warm interactions. Effectively ring up orders on the register accurately and in a timely manner. Walk guests through the order efficiently while presenting the full menu of choices. Identify and assess customer needs and adapt service style to achieve guest satisfaction. Understand the four purposes of upselling and meet personal/team target sales goals. Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Comply with sanitation regulations and food safety standards . Provide pricing information, answer questions, and deal with difficult guests in a warm and friendly manner.
