This role is key to providing a seamless experience for patients from the moment they reach out to us. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a knack for multitasking in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Greet and welcome patients and visitors, creating a positive and supportive environment from the moment they walk through our doors.
Call Management:
Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring accurate message delivery and routing to appropriate departments.
Appointment Scheduling:
Coordinate and manage patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while optimizing scheduling systems.
Insurance & Documentation Handling:
Verify insurance information, process authorizations, and manage all related paperwork with attention to detail and accuracy.
Patient Records Management:
Collect, update, and maintain patient data while ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
Administrative Support:
Assist with general office duties, including scanning, faxing, and filing, to ensure smooth daily operations.
Customer Service Excellence:
Address patient inquiries and concerns with a positive, solution-oriented approach to ensure an exceptional experience.
Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish): Strong communication skills in both languages are essential to support our diverse patient population.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare environment, preferably with experience in front desk or call center roles focused on patient care.
Insurance Knowledge:
Familiarity with insurance verification and authorization processes is a plus.
Communication Skills:
Professional, clear, and empathetic communication abilities, both in person and over the phone.
Problem-Solving Skills:
A friendly, approachable personality with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
