In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and maintain a well-organized store environment. Your ability to engage with customers and provide solutions will be key to your success in this position. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring adherence to company policies. Provide information about products, promotions, and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stock shelves as needed. Assist in product demonstrations to promote sales and educate customers on features. Supervise junior staff or new hires as necessary, providing guidance on customer service best practices. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining phone etiquette. Experience Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when interacting with customers. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
