This position will provide customer service and support to our Jacksonville customers. Order entry of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical and Instrumentation Industrial components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact with customers via telephone and email to provide support and information on products, services and order status.
Handle requests for price quotes, credit applications, purchase orders, order adjustments and order cancellations.
Place timely orders with vendors by computer, phone, email or fax.
Remain current with discount structure and AFP products.
Maintain current customer accounts, build relationships.
Work closely with inside sales and sales reps in team environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Knowledge of or ability to learn industrial products and applications.
Proficient computer skills.
Physical Requirement:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on computer, phone.
