SNI is currentlyrecruiting for 30 healthcare customer service patientrepresentatives that will have FULL training provided and apermanent job opportunity after completion of training. Health carecustomer service representatives supply individuals with detailsabout the extent of their health insurance coverage. Health carecustomer service representatives typically work in call centersowned by or affiliated with health insurance providers. We aresearching for patient and attentive health care customer servicerepresentatives to join our bustling organization. You will berequired to field scheme-related queries from customers, providepre-authorization for medical treatment, and outline informationregarding co-payments. You should also advise current andprospective members about the most suitable plans based on theirneeds. To ensure success as a health care customer servicerepresentative, you should be able to process and disseminate vastamounts of information. An outstanding Health Care Customer ServiceRepresentative will possess an aptitude for learning and continualdevelopment.
Health Care Customer Service RepresentativeResponsibilities:
Familiarizing yourself with and remainingup-to-date with changes in our plans and tariffs. Greetingcustomers in a friendly, professional manner using the suggestedscript. Answering telephonic and e-mail inquiries in a timelymanner. Deferring queries to your line manager if you are unable toanswer them. Furnishing members and health care practitioners withdetails regarding members’ benefits. Granting pre-authorizationsfor medical treatment, if covered. Advising members of outstandingco-payments. Providing extant and prospective members with thedetails of network providers. Canceling members’ plans upon theirrequest, or due to recurrent non-payment, if directed by your linemanager. Ensuring that your workspace remains tidy and that you areequipped with all relevant tools and resources.
Health CareCustomer Service Representative Skills:
High school diploma orequivalent. Prior experience as a customer service specialist orequivalent, ideally within a similar setting. Sales experience ishighly advantageous. Computer literate with an above-average typingspeed. Superb verbal and written communication skills. Thorough,with excellent listening skills. Ability to calm irate, anxious, orgrieving customers. Capacity to navigate stressful situations withease.
