Technology Adoption Specialist 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Jacksonville, FL 32256 Job Summary As a Baker Distributing Technology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and optimal use of Baker’s technology solutions for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting customer needs, implementing Baker technology, resolving customer issues, and providing comprehensive training to both customers and Baker employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff and assist customers regarding Baker technology. Strong Communication Skills and ability to provide demonstrations and do follow up with the internal staff and customers as needed. Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs. Offer prompt and effective technical support to resolve customer inquiries and issues. Sell the value of the electronic business solution to the customer, making sure to include key customer leadership in the review. Conduct training sessions for customers to ensure they are proficient in using Baker technology. Develop and deliver training programs for Baker employees to enhance their technical knowledge and customer service skills. Create and update training materials, user guides, and other educational resources. Track & report on successes and obstacles. Promote changes and modifications as necessary, including changes/updates to Baker’s offerings and suggestions from customers for modification to the same.

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Prior sales or customer service experience required. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Qualifications & Skills Sales Leadership professionalism. Problem solving skills including a collaborative approach to solving problems. Experienced with using data warehouse reporting capabilities to mine data and develop reports Familiarity with HVAC/R industry and products is a bonus. Must be comfortable working on your own and collaborating. Must be able to schedule time effectively to accomplish specific position related goals while also participating in Baker Distributing conference calls, electronic meetings and on-site meetings as required. Must be goal orientated and driven to achieve results. Outstanding interpersonal communication, written and verbal skills with all levels of an organization. Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure full compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures. Physical Demands The employee frequently is required to stand, sit, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
