Member Service Representative (MSR) Job Description Respond to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals within a 24/7 high volume, schedule-driven, and structured contact center operation. Provide information regarding products and services demonstrating knowledge, active listening, multiple system adaptability, and engagement methods to ensure optimal member experience and customer service. Perform transactions or related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts. Advise members on other products and services that may fit their needs and provide opportunities for positive member interaction. Work Environment The Contact Center is open 24/7/365 to be available for our members around the world any time they need us. We believe in work-life balance and want you to accept a shift you can work within reasonable flexibility on your part and without significant negative impact on your personal or family life. Scheduled events such as breaks and meals are to be taken when scheduled. Most shifts are flexible which means that your scheduled start time and end time can vary within a one hour window. Your hours of availability during the day must be 9.5 hours to account for the one hour variation in your start and end time. You will be taking back to back phone calls for the majority of your shift and could be scheduled to take calls for as long as four hours before your next break.
