Service Advisor/Writer Able Auto Repair Pensacola, FL 32526 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Writer to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, facilitating communication between clients and service technicians. This role is essential in ensuring that all service requests are accurately documented and that customers receive exceptional service throughout their experience. Duties Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs, providing knowledgeable recommendations. Accurately document customer concerns and relay information to service technicians for diagnostics and repairs. Prepare detailed estimates for services required, utilizing skills in auto estimating and automotive diagnostics. Maintain clear communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicle repairs, ensuring they are informed throughout the process. Collaborate with service technicians to align on repair strategies and timelines, ensuring efficient workflow. Process customer payments and handle any inquiries related to automotive sales or services. Provide exemplary customer service, addressing any concerns or questions promptly and professionally. Assist in promoting additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in automotive service writing or a similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, diesel engine repair, and general automotive service practices. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of service technicians while maintaining a positive attitude. Sales experience in automotive sales is a plus, with the ability to effectively transmit information about services to customers.
