• We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment.
• Responsibilities
• Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
• Process payments using various modes (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments)
• Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and general store information
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Upsell products and promotions to customers
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently
• Requirements
• Proficient in basic math and retail math
• Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Prior experience in a grocery store or retail setting is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service
