In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional customer service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to handle inbound calls, assist with inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding member service. General Duties Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing member inquiries and concerns Provide accurate information regarding products and services to members Engage in upselling or cross-selling opportunities when appropriate to meet member needs Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while handling sensitive information Accurately process member transactions Provide a one-call resolution Follow-up with unresolved issues in a timely manner Complete initial loan interview and loan application Utilize strong listening and problem-solving skills to resolve member issues Learn and keep abreast of the Credit Union’s processes, products, and services Experience Previous experience in a financial institution or call center environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective member interactions. Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with office software applications is required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial.
