Service Writer Lee County Government – 3.6 Fort Myers, FL Job Details Full-time $40,004.85 – $77,399.83 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Office Smartsheet 2 years Entry level Full Job Description JOB This position serves as Fleet Management’s Front Desk full-time support including but not limited to; opening and closing the front desk and answering multi-line incoming calls for the department. Also performs a variety of administrative/office support functions, including typing, mailing, copying, and file maintenance as well as maintaining different fleet spreadsheet and smart sheets.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Schedule vehicle service appointments for customers. Calls in tow repairs for customers using various towing vendors.
Calls in tire repairs for customers with various vendors.
Reviews all work orders for correct grammar, spelling, completeness, and parts posted.
Opens asset work orders. Closes asset work orders.
Monitors any older work orders to resolve any delays in closing. Posts all invoices from vendors to asset work orders. Prepares all Title-work for new vehicles and equipment for all County Departments. Provide front office support to all shopsAssists Resource Manager and Operations Manager with various tasks as needed.
Monitors vehicles and equipment left at Fleet for long periods of time. Responds to customer requests for information and assistance whether in person or via telephone. Assists in the maintenance of Fleet’s asset management system.
Updates and maintain a variety of databases, spreadsheets, and smartsheets.
Files completed work orders.
Runs and posts work orders to the Fleet website for use by County departments. Processes all incoming mail. Performs related work as assigned.
