In this vital role, you will be the face of the practice and the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your passion for animal care and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the well-being of our furry patients and their owners. Duties Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and process necessary documentation. Assist in handling animals during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring their comfort and safety. Collect payments and manage transactions at the front desk. Provide information on pet health care, products, and services offered by the clinic. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and veterinarians to ensure smooth clinic operations. Skills To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills: Knowledge of basic animal health concepts such as vaccine schedules and preventative care. Experience in animal handling, including dog handling and restraint techniques is a plus. Previous experience in a veterinary setting is a requirement of this position. Strong front desk management skills with excellent communication abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating empathy towards clients and their pets. Proficiency in multitasking while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.
