In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. Your primary focus will be on creating a welcoming environment, promoting products, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and meet sales goals. Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by replenishing merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing. Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks. Provide product knowledge to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment. Skills Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems. Experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery store environment. Strong upselling skills with the ability to drive sales through effective communication. Familiarity with retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management. Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining attention to detail.
