The Call Center Representative supports MedFlorida Medical Centers by becoming the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers. The role of each Call Center Representative is to handle high volume incoming phone calls while adhering to the quality of standards, by accepting ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints, and inquiries, and by keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior. A. Essential Duties 1. Take patient calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns. 2. De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients, offering patient assistance and support. 3. Collaborate with other call center professionals to improve customer service. 4. Help to train new employees. 5. Managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. 6. Answer telephone promptly and politely. 7. Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into EMR system. 8. Schedule appointments appropriately then review appointment date, time, location, and provider name with patient. 9. Identifying patient’s needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide reasonable solutions 10. Inform caller of items to bring to appointment (including insurance card, medications, and if necessary, office visit fee). 11. Build sustainable relationships with patients and personnel. 12. Meet and exceed personal and department objectives and metrics. 13. Act a liaison for the patients.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Experience in medical field is highly desirable, but will train the right person.

Computer literate:

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required. eClinicalWorks electronic medical records system knowledge is highly desirable. Bilingual Spanish Training to be completed for 3 days at Deerfield Beach.
