We invite you to join our successful logistics organization! Commodity Forwarders is looking for a full time Customer Service Representative to fill a position within our Operations department. This is a non-exempt position with a starting rate of $15-19/hr. depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Miami Branch.

Miami, FL Schedule:

5 days a week between 11am – 7pm

Your Role:

Perform job responsibilities with strong sense of urgency, enthusiasm and professionalism as needed to maintain a high standard consistent with the company’s culture and goals. Ensure all work completed meets Commodity Forwarders standards. Prioritize the workflow for cargo movements to insure customer and vendor satisfaction. Ensure the timely movement of cargo from origin to destination to fulfill customer’s instructions and ensure procedures for taking booking are always followed Coordinate with customs brokers to obtain release documents in a timely manner to maximize productivity of the warehouse Process claims paperwork timely and accurately with carrier Verify on-board and forward necessary correspondence to customers Work environment is fast paced; multi-tasking and handling high-pressure situations is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

Preferred Education – some college Preferred Experience – 1 year customer service Preferred Bi-lingual English and Spanish Basic computer skills including e-mail, web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word Excellent customer service and vendor relations skills Good Reasons to
