Processing Associate, Customer Success 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 8669 NW 36th St Ste 130, Doral, FL 33166 Position Summary The Processing Associates plays a pivotal role within AWS, ensuring seamless execution of certification application qualification standards for our customers. Responsible for meticulously evaluating and processing all certification applications to meet stringent welding industry criteria, the associate accurately enters certification data in AWS database and validates customer qualifications. Additionally, this role involves delivering exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries related to certification through various contact channels, thereby ensuring a streamlined and efficient certification experience and driving white-glove service for AWS customers.

Essential Duties:

Review, qualify, and process all certification applications, including exams and renewals, to meet industry standards. Assist international partners with reviewing exam preparation and assessing candidate qualifications. Meet weekly deadlines for processing applications and confirmations. Manage a revolving case load of applications, including following-up on customer applications with missing documents via email or phone. Responsible for maintaining customer records for site testing. Process exam rescheduling and cancellations, including eligibility determination, confirmation letter reprinting, and communication with customers. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of customers applications. Perform additional assigned duties as required to support the certification process and meet customer service organizational objectives.

Proven interpersonal skills with emphasis on empathy and assurance. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to assess situations and respond appropriately, strong problem-solving skills, emphasis in attention to detail. Professional attitude, enthusiastic, and reliable. Ability to provide excellent customer service, multi-task to keep many projects going at once, and keep organized records. Agile learning; multiple contact queues, process, procedures, and software programs.

Bilingual:

Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory. Required Education and Experience High School diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of experience in a technical customer service contact center or related field. Prior experience with American Welding Society’s products and programs is a plus.

This position is in a quiet to moderately noisy indoor office environment. Individuals in this type of position must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, sit, stand, hear, use of fingers to handle, feel or operate objects and write. Must have the physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as but not limited to personal computer, calculator, copy and fax machines. Must be able to remain seated at a keyboard or desk for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, and/or push/pull articles weighing up to 20 lbs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
