Customer Service Representative

Orlando, FL 32808 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive company image. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries Generate and send estimates, proposals, and invoices to residential and commercial clients Follow up on open estimates to close sales and maintain pipeline visibility Professionally explain services to customers and recommend solutions based on their needs Answer questions related to services, scheduling, pricing, and scope of work Coordinate with electricians and technicians to schedule jobs, inspections, and service calls Document all calls, emails, and updates and keep accurate and updated records of all customer interactions, jobs, and payments Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) to generate reports and manage documents Collect payments and manage accounts receivable follow-up Track permit statuses and coordinate with city/county offices as needed Support general office tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the business Convert incoming inquiries into booked jobs and confirmed sales Upsell additional services when appropriate (e.g., surge protection, generator installs) Handle quote revisions and client objections with professionalism Maintain a follow-up schedule for quotes not yet approved Log and track sales activities to monitor closing rate and identify opportunities Analyze customer feedback and report trends to management for continuous improvement. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required) Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident phone presence and ability to close sales Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organization skills Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently Previous experience in client services or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with sales processes and office operations is advantageous. Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
