Customer Service Representative FLSA Status:

Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title: Communicate with customers, including but not limited to phone contact, written and faxed correspondence to ensure highest level of customer service and relations Take orders from customers, ensure orders are pulled in a timely fashion, and shipped out accordingly Maintain and interpret all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers Establish personal rapport with customers in order to identify current and future customer needs Generate prospective customers through cold calling; close sales generated by cold calling, follow up on sales leads Work with purchasing department regarding inventory Work with and support Sales Manager to help carry out business plan Submit call reports in a timely manner and prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information Occasional warehouse duties as needed such as lifting and moving material, receiving material, and packaging material for shipping Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Two years of sales or related experience EMS and Tigress product knowledge Experience in the Fishing and Boating industry a plus Basic math skills Effective problem solving ability Professional customer service techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Persuasive negotiation techniques EMS is committed to providing a clean work environment with masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves.
