We’re excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for a Personal Lines Producer to join our growing team in Maitland, Ocala, or Leesburg, Florida! In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing client relationships for personal lines insurance products, including auto, home, and personal liability coverage.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Establish referral sources through relationships with Realtors, Bankers, Mortgage Companies, Builders, Auto Dealerships, etc. Prospect, develop, and gain new customers Be able to close new sales and renew business on annual basis Work closely with Account Managers/Executives and Marketing Coordinator regarding placement of new/renewal business. Interpret, analyze, negotiate, and offer recommendations on coverage based on individual client needs. Complete the necessary Brown & Brown Sales Training, which includes working closely with a seasoned producer, assisting them with new business quotes, preparing proposals and applications, and learning the Private Client insurance markets. Follow all systems, workflows, compliance procedures, and insurance company regulations. Respond to client questions and maintain appropriate correspondence/documentation in the client file. Prospect sectors or market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services. Maintain currency and further develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and participating in professional development activities. Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, writing letters, or occasional personal visits. To attend insurance company meetings for public relations purposes.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

Florida 2-20 License, or obtained within 90 days

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE TO BE SUCCESSFUL

4-year College Degree Prior sales experience Effective communication skills, organizational skills and ability to respond to requests effective and efficiently Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excels in collaborative team environment; Team player Routine or periodic travel is required; which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.
