This is not a direct sales position, there is no cold calling. We have sales representatives and applications engineers who are responsible for bringing in new business. The Customer Account Specialist generates repeat business by being responsive to customers, resolving issues and finding creative solutions to problems. By providing service to our customers, you are generating trust and building relationships. Responsibilities Your core priority is to be a client advocate and work with internal departments to analyze problems and find creative solutions to exceed customer expectations by: Processing orders, often with complex requirements, from quoting stage through delivery. Interacting directly with customers or sales representatives via email or phone to provide support for scheduling, requirement changes and all other customer requirements. Working with customers to meet project expectations for delivery and quality. Collaborating with manufacturing, engineering and materials departments to resolve customer issues. Developing relationships within the company to meet goals as a team. Using computer systems and internal tools to effectively process customer orders, create quotations and maintain correspondence files. Partnering with the inside sales team to forecast monthly and yearly performance metrics to meet company goals.
