Pay:

$18.22 per hour Job Summary The Retention Specialist at ProForce Pest Control is responsible for engaging with customers to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and maintain long-term relationships. As a frontline team member, the specialist plays a crucial role in reducing customer churn, resolving issues, and enhancing the overall customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Contact customers to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction. Handle customer complaints and inquiries efficiently and empathetically, escalating complex issues to the Retention Team Manager when necessary. Gather customer feedback to inform retention strategies and improve service offerings. Participate in initiatives designed to engage and retain customers, such as follow-up calls, surveys, or special offers. Identify opportunities to promote additional services or upgrades that align with customer needs (upsell). Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in the company’s CRM system. Work closely with other retention team members to share insights and strategies for improving customer retention. Liaise with Sales, Routing, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance customer service and retention skills. Serve as back up to Customer Experience team as needed.

Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service upselling or sales. Previous experience in a contact center or customer service role. Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically. A strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively, addressing customer concerns effectively. Proficiency in CRM systems, contact center software, and other communication tools. High emotional intelligence to manage customer emotions and de-escalate challenging situations. Flexibility to handle various tasks and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to pass required background screen Preferred Qualifications Multilingual abilities (as needed based on customer base). Experience in the pest control or home services industry.
