POSITION RESPONSIBILITY

The Assistant Service Advisor is responsible for assisting the Service Team in the proper satisfaction of customer and vehicle related problems, meeting pre-determined service sales objectives, and the thorough and accurate performance of designated administrative duties. Promptly meet and greet service customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Properly document the customer’s reason(s) for bringing their vehicle to the service department. Offer logical diagnostic services or repairs to satisfy customer’s concerns. Provide accurate estimates for all the services or repairs recommended. Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller’s inquiry. Properly document repair order changes. Generate all internal repair orders (PDI’s, Used Car Recon and Recalls). Schedule service appointments. Schedule and coordinate valet service. Be a liaison between advisors, technicians and parts department. Cashier customers. Coordinate approvals from extended warranty and insurance companies for windshield replacement. Learn and develop booking of RO’s (CP, Warranty and Internal). Perform other specific administrative functions as directed by service management. Performs quality control vehicle checks.

  • 3 years of experience in a highline service department highly preferred Basic working knowledge of Dealership computer systems (CDK highly preferred) Strong selling, interpersonal and communication skills Computer proficient with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Excellent work history Valid in-state Driver’s license and clean driving record Benefits Group Benefits eligibility for full-time associates is 1st of month after 60 days.
