Job Description
Customer Service Specialist Cabriolet Hydraulics 2111 72nd Terrace East, Sarasota, FL 34243 We rebuild hydraulics cylinders and pumps for convertible top automobiles. We operate a clean, well-organized, air-conditioned repair and light manufacturing facility. This position is part of our team responsible for processing customer orders, both physically and through our order management system. There is a lot of interaction with customers over the phone and a lesser amount in person, and by email. Our customers are primarily repair shops and dealer service centers, but we also deal with individual car owners. Throughout each day, part of the time is spent in the office taking calls, creating invoices, and processing customer payments. The other part of each day is spent receiving customer parts, creating work orders, and packing shipments to return completed parts to customers. To be successful requires developing a thorough knowledge and understanding of our parts and rebuild services. The right individual needs to be interested in and comfortable working with automotive parts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Receive and unpack customer parts Generate work orders Setup new customers Process orders, which includes: receiving, generating work orders and invoices, calculating shipping, processing payments, and packing. Provide accurate information about parts and services to customers by phone and email. Maintain inventory of materials needed for order packing, including such things as pre-printed labels and package inserts, and various pre-packaged items/assemblies that accompany outgoing shipments. Follow operating procedures Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Necessary for Success Previous office experience Customer service and order processing experience Solid PC skills Excellent organization and time management skills Ability to easily switch from one task to another Solid critical thinking and decision-making skills Solid communication skills Keen attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Background Experience working in the automotive parts/service/repair industry, or experience working in a different industrial products/service industry/environment. Hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm
