CareerSource Chipola has an opening for a Customer Service Professional to serve the Marianna & Chipley career center. An ability to work independently while providing quality customer services is a must. A high school diploma or GED is required. The successful applicant will be someone interested in helping others find employment and gain access to training programs designed to increase skills levels and employability. This position requires an ability to help others understand services available and assist individuals in navigating various software programs designed to assist customers. A strong desire to help others is a must. Minimum starting salary will be $33,000 per year. Current staff wishing to apply should submit a cover letter stating their interest in the position to Richard Williams. Additional testing will be required. Outside applicants must be registered in Employ Florida, complete a pre-employment application, take a typing test, and a customer service mindset test. Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel in a work environment is a must. Applicants may take the typing and customer service mindset test at either the Marianna or Chipley career center with an appointment. The successful applicant will be required to pass a drug screen and an appropriate background check.
