Service Advisor/Writer Flyin Wrench 9575 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive repair services, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience. This role requires strong customer service skills, an understanding of automotive repair processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians. Duties Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs. Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle issues. Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate them clearly to customers. Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments. Follow up with customers regarding service status and any additional repairs needed. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process. Maintain a clean and organized service area. Requirements Proven experience in cash handling and customer service. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology. Previous experience in service writing or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, estimating, and sales is a plus. ARO of $1,800 with a close ratio of 60%. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong knowledge and understanding of KPI’s and team building. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in mechanics or dealership operations is advantageous. Knowledge of Tekmetric a plus, but not required.
