Cashier/Customer Service 220 Surplus Center Duncansville, PA 16635 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for our shoppers. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Operate cash registers, processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide product demonstrations and share knowledge about promotions to enhance customer experience. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all stock is properly displayed. Assist in stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but, not required. Must have the ability to handle money. Communication with customers and colleagues. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure.
