The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless experience from service initiation to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive service and repair processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage customer expectations effectively. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs. Provide detailed explanations of service recommendations and repair options. Coordinate with service technicians to align on customer requirements and repair timelines. Manage cash handling processes accurately during transactions. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history. Assist in automotive sales by promoting services and products that meet customer needs. Conduct auto estimating for repairs and services, ensuring transparency in pricing. Stay updated on automotive technologies, including diesel engine repair, brake repair, and air brake systems. Support service management by contributing to team goals and maintaining a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive service processes, including diesel engine repair and brake repair. Proficiency in cash handling and customer service management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers. Familiarity with auto estimating tools and software is an advantage. A background in automotive sales is beneficial but not required. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
