In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with sales, and maintain the front end of the store to create an inviting atmosphere. Responsibilities Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, processing customer transactions with attention to detail. Assist customers with inquiries, providing information about products and services while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Engage in retail sales by actively promoting products and upselling when appropriate. Supervise front end operations, ensuring that all associates adhere to company policies and procedures. Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that products are well-displayed and accessible to customers. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks to ensure accurate transactions. Communicate effectively with team members and management to support a collaborative work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or as a cash register operator is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and managing cash flow. Ability to supervise and guide team members in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service is highly valued.
