In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. Process sales efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service. Manage inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and courtesy. Assist in training new staff members on cash handling procedures and customer service protocols. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Familiarity with cash registers and cash handling procedures is essential. Strong understanding of retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also supervising when necessary.
