This includes developing and cultivating leads, initial contact and follow-up communications, preparing quotations, coordinating with other departments, executing sales, and relaying pertinent information to customers. The Representative’s role is to proactively manage customer relationships and to manage sales opportunities from current, new and potential customers. The Representative will also assist with purchasing, procurement and inventory management as related to the Sales and Customer Service activities. Major Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Generate new sales leads
• Generate new sales from new and existing customers
• Proactively develop and create customer relationships; document and maintain contact information and potential sales prospects
• Receives requests for quotations and product testing from customers
• Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to make recommendations and provide quotations for services and testing and relay pertinent information to customers
• Communicate with lab colleagues to schedule testing to meet customer timelines and requested turnaround times
• Provide accurate information regarding laboratory capabilities and expected turnaround times
• Responsible for project setup and oversight of sample receipts
• Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery
• Contact customers as follow-up to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints
• Manage relationships with established clients and identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
• Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with company staff
• Coordinates with other departments in handling purchase orders and procuring testing materials
• Provide client notification for delayed or late projects or revised turnaround times
• Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, SOPs and protocols and appropriate industry, quality and regulatory standards, guidelines, rules and regulations
• Complete and maintain all training required as related to the duties of this position
• Perform other related duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in related science field preferred (i.e., Chemistry > Chemical Engineering > Microbiology,, etc.,); minimum of 2 years of sales experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Significant experience with sales and customer relations
• Experienced on executing email marketing campaigns and landing pages
• Exhibit self-motivation, flexibility and adaptability to new situations
• Possess ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
• Strong working knowledge of
