Responsibilities:

Engage with

Donors:

Make outgoing calls to established donors, encouraging them to donate blood based on eligibility, blood type, and inventory needs.

Update Records:

Maintain and update donor records, including changes in contact information and other relevant details.

Answer Inquiries:

Respond to donor questions within your scope of knowledge, and refer more complex queries to the appropriate department.

Front Desk Duties:

Perform reception duties, manage visitor rosters, distribute mail or notify directors when mail has arrived, and monitor surveillance cameras.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to ensure a positive donor experience and promote teamwork.

Flexible Schedule:

Be prepared to work weekdays, weekends, and travel to various locations as needed.

Customer Relations:

Assist all departments in promoting positive customer relations to enhance donor retention. Maintain a clean and neat front desk area: Keep the area neat and orderly. Organize and maintain donor incentives in a neat and orderly fashion.

Qualifications:
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Courses in sales, communication, and computer data entry are preferred.

Experience:

At least one year of experience in a public-facing role, preferably in sales or customer service. Call center and receptionist experience are a plus.

Skills:

Excellent persuasive and interpersonal skills. Accurate data entry abilities. Ability to work well in a team and handle diverse co-workers. Flexibility to work various schedules and travel as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, move through the office, and handle materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
