CSR – Customer Service Representative McInnis Insurance Agency, Inc. 619 North Main Street, Homer, LA 71040 Job Overview We are seeking a licensed Customer Service Representative to join our team, preferably with experience in commercial lines, property and casualty insurance. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer support through various channels including phone, email, and chat. Handle client inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain customer records. Assist in sales by promoting products and services to meet customer needs. Process cash transactions and handle payments securely. Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in service delivery. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information. Qualifications Previous experience in an independent agency with experience in quoting and servicing accounts of all varieties. Previous experience with Commercial Insurance preferred. A Property and Casualty License required. Strong client services skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual candidates are a plus. Proficient in data entry with attention to detail. Experience with cash handling procedures is desirable. Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions. A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer support.
