In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming environment will be key to enhancing the customer experience. Duties Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately and quickly. Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance sales. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively. Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience. Skills Proficient in cash register operation and cash handling practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Experience in retail sales or related fields is preferred. Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for transactions.
