Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing job assignments, coordinating field operations, and serving as the first point of contact for our valued customers. You’ll help ensure seamless communication between clients, dispatchers, and field staff—supporting 24/7 operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and accuracy Manage real-time dispatching and logistics coordination of Tank Barge PICs and marine personnel Enter and maintain accurate data and job details in dispatching systems (TowWorks or equivalent) Analyze customer needs and provide timely solutions or escalate as needed Coordinate with terminals, vessel crews, and internal departments to ensure timely job execution Assist with transportation planning to optimize scheduling and resource utilization Monitor job progress during active shifts and adjust plans based on conditions or customer updates Support continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in customer service, dispatching, or logistics coordination preferred Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Comfortable working in a high-paced, 24/7 operational environment Familiarity with transportation planning or marine operations is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with dispatch software (TowWorks preferred) Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays Why Join Petro-Chem Services?
