In this role, you will be the face of our bakery, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute significantly to our customers’ shopping experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases. Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are processed smoothly. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed neatly and organized. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the store, including checkout areas and product displays. Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products, promotions, and store policies. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Familiarity with cash registers and retail sales processes is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Experience in stock management and retail math is beneficial.
