Customer Service Associate The Harvard/MIT Cooperative Society Newton, MA 02458 Job description We’re looking for a Customer Service Associate for our Harvard/MIT COOP e-commerce site. We are willing to train and will customize the responsibilities assigned to this position based on the successful candidate’s background /experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by answering incoming phone calls/emails from customers and providing requested information and resolution to questions/issues. Own all primary customer communication and resolve escalations with autonomy. Work directly with vendors to place and maintain customer special orders, provide reporting and/or tracking as needed. Process customer returns and maintain related reporting and analysis Resolve shipping issues working with appropriate contacts at
USPS, UPS, USPS
international, i.e., lost shipments, incorrect shipping addresses, custom issues, filing claims Assist in maintaining all site data integrity including merchandise info (inventory availability, cost/retail info etc.) reference material and operational information Help process orders, pick/pack as needed
Desired Skills & Experience:
Customer service focused Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize appropriately to meet deadlines Proficient in Excel Comfortable with learning to work with internal databases

$20.00 – $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
