Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in communication, organization, and problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions
- Provide exceptional service by addressing customer concerns and offering solutions tailored to their needs
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups as needed to support customer requirements
- Handle both inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage order entry processes, ensuring accuracy and prompt fulfillment
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to generate reports and update documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve customer issues
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company products and services to provide informed assistance Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service or call center role, handling inbound and outbound calls
- Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for email correspondence and phone interactions
- Ability to schedule appointments and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting purposes
- Experience in order entry and managing customer transactions
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
