Overview Milton CAT is seeking an experienced Truck and Industrial Engine Parts & Service (TEPS) Dealer Coordinator. The TEPS Dealer Technical Communicator provides technical support to others which will enable them to be more efficient in problem resolution, trouble shooting, and engine and power systems repairs. This role will be required to call on all Truck Engine Parts & Service (TEPS) Dealers in Mass, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine. This position will encompass all areas of Milton CAT’s truck and Industrial Business and requires a self-motivated, energetic, detail minded individual with good analytical skills.

We are recruiting for one open position that can be based in Milford, MA, Londonderry, NH or Scarborough, ME. We have advertised this position in multiple cities within our territory. Responsibilities Provide technical support to TEPS & ISD, Service dealers
Resolve technical problems through diagnosis, personal knowledge, research, OEM contacts and engineering data
Identify, document and report product issues to CAT factory and assist in determining root causes to improve customer satisfaction, productivity and/or operations improvements
Work with product support to resolve technical and application issues to suppliers and Caterpillar engineering
Assist with warranty and goodwill administration for dealers and select fleets
Continuously evaluate all
TEPS, ISD
& Service Dealers against established performance standards
Responsible for renewing and initiating TEPS and ISD dealer agreements
Aggressively promote all service & parts marketing programs, Parts store and assist training dealers in Ecommerce
Drive, administer and coordinate Caterpillar training at
TEPS & ISD
dealers to ensure full utilization of web applications and e-commerce Minimum Educational Requirements
Associates Degree in Business Administration, communications or related field required. Equivalent education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of an associate’s degree. Qualifications To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.
High school diploma or (GED) equivalent
5 + years of experience on truck engines and power systems or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude/knowledge of On-Highway industry/applications
Product specific, electronics, engines, electronic controls, diagnostics and failure analysis knowledge
Strong problem-solving skills and be detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy
Perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations, working with various departments with minimum supervision
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record with travel and overnight stays with CDL Preferred
Able to lift more than 50 pounds Preferred Skills and Competencies
Thorough knowledge of CAT ET Software
Experience working with On Highway and Industrial
Experience working directly with Truck & ISD OEMs and/or Dealers
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Caterpillar Engine Warranty guidelines
