  • Pegasystems is growing and our Cloud Acceleration Group is seeking an experienced customer facing expert to take on the vital role of Lead Service Assurance Advisor, Cloud Migrations.

This is a pivotal, high-profile role, who will lead and guide the regional Service Assurance Advisors (SAAs), clients and partners on Pega Cloud Migrations to Pega Cloud Services. The SME will provide best practice advice and guidance on migrating on-prem. Pega deployments to Pega Cloud Services. The SME will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across Pega departments to ensure success of Pega migration initiatives. The SME will ensure customer success by striving to keep the Pega clients current on the latest Pega versions. The successful candidate will have excellent consultative skills, detailed Pega product and Pega Cloud Services knowledge, and a commitment to delivery excellence and continuous improvement. This is a vital role within the organization is key to Pega’s transition to as-a-Service and directly impacts overall customer success and the evolution of our product and service capabilities. _Due to the nature of the work and occasional involvement with Gov Cloud and FedRamp, US Citizenship is required_

  • What You’ll Do at
Pega:
  • _Regional Engagement Oversight_
  • Support, guide, and enable the Service Assurance Advisors (SAA) in the region on client engagements as they pertain to Cloud Migrations
  • Advise clients and partners in the region on Cloud Migration approach and best practice
  • Contribute towards identifying and documenting best practices for migration.
  • Ensure best practice guidelines on migration are followed by clients and partners in the region.
  • Work with the Migration Service Teams and regional SAAs in planning and executing migration projects in the region.
  • Qualify new cloud migration engagements in the region working with the regional Sr. Director to forecast SAA resources accordingly _COE Continuous Improvement and Standardization_
  • Capture client and partner feedback from the SAAs in the region on migration projects for continuous improvement.
  • Work with Pega product, cloud engineering, and operations teams to address and drive feedback to done.
  • Assist in research and development on migration best practices, technical documentation, and tooling.
  • Align and collaborate with SMEs in other regions to ensure Pega is operating globally, and findings are shared
  • Who You Are:
  • + 12 + years of relevant work experience ideally with 3-5 years of either consulting experience or a technical lead role + Experienced with Pega migration, Pega Cloud Services and upgrade projects, preferred (CSSA certification, CLSA preferred) + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent + Experience working with Amazon Web Services and GCP + Knowledge of database administration (Postgres, Oracle, DB2) + Knowledge of J2EE architecture and application servers (Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, or JBOSS) + Knowledge and experience with Javascript, SQL, and
CSS/HTML

+ Knowledge of Operating Systems (specifically Windows, AIX, Solaris, Linux, zOS) + Knowledge of integration protocols and technologies (SOAP/REST, MQ, JMS) + Demonstrable experience in quickly understanding complex technical issues, as well as understanding customer end-to-end deployments, products and underlying architecture + Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating customer meetings and workshops + Possess strong presentation skills and credibility with all levels of customer organizations + Ability to rapidly gain in-depth knowledge of existing and new Pega products and services
