Welcome clients with their pets to the clinic in a friendly and courteous manner Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled clients. Assist clients in completing appropriate patient forms. Promptly notify staff of the arrival of patients, communicate major concerns if needed. Monitor client flow from check-in to discharge. Process payment transactions Check in boarding patients, transfer from owner to boarding facilities. Monitor schedule and flow. Schedule appointments and procedures. Enter/review patients’ records to ensure all records are up to date in computer Call and prepare the next day’s appointments. Managing record requests from clients and other clinics. Maintain proper documentation in the medical record. Complete client correspondence documents Client call backs. Complete file organization Keep the lobby & reception desk organized and tidy Balance drawer and prepare deposit.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds. Basic math and writing skills.

Computer skills:

Able to use Windows based computer systems, word processing, email, web search and other skills needed to effectively use the practice management software program. This job description does not necessarily cover every task or duty that might be assigned. There may be additional responsibilities assigned as necessary.
