The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various vehicles. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met. Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations. Assist in inventory management by tracking delivered items and reporting discrepancies. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred, with a strong understanding of route driving. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience in heavy lifting and loading/unloading goods is essential. Customer service experience is highly valued to ensure positive interactions with clients. Knowledge of operating pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory.
