The Dermatology Clinic, PLLC is the only full-service dermatology practice on the Gulf Coast under the direction of board-certified Dermatologists. Dr. Wingfield, Dr. Ortego, and their team of physician assistants treat the full range of hair, skin, and nail disorders. In addition, we perform advanced techniques in skin resurfacing for scars and wrinkles, as well as botulinum treatment of wrinkles and all types of wrinkle fillers. We are looking for a Call Center Representative to join our team! Voted “Best Places to Work on the MS Gulf Coast,” The Dermatology Clinic, PLLC is a busy office with the goal of providing exceptional care and an excellent patient experience. This is a full-time position, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday in our Gulfport, MS office. Call center experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be focused on customer service and quality care, team-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary:
The Call Center Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to all The Dermatology Clinic PLLC clinics. This role involves handling a variety of tasks such as processing referrals, managing phone calls, voicemails, and online paperwork, as well as assisting with processing Medicaid reporting.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
The Call Center Representative role includes, but is not limited to: Handle and process patient referrals efficiently. Manage incoming calls for all clinics, providing information and assistance as needed. Retrieve, review, and respond to voicemails for all clinics in a prompt and professional manner. Process and manage online paperwork submissions. Handle rescheduling requests and update appointments accordingly. Process and manage Medicaid reports. Document notes for injectable appointments, including details on rewards and open packages. Monitor and respond to messages in NextPatient, ensuring timely and proper communication. Perform all other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the clinic. Requirements Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred. Familiarity with medical office operations and terminology is highly desirable. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with diverse clientele. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and the use of call center software. Outstanding verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette and professionalism.
