Based on experience, starting at $15/hr About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant with optical experience to support customer service, order coordination, and inventory tracking. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth flow of information between clients, internal teams, and vendors, while helping to maintain accurate inventory records for optical products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of optical materials and terminology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems. Process and track orders for optical products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide updates to clients regarding order status, shipping details, and delivery timelines. Maintain accurate inventory records for optical materials and products. Prepare and distribute reports related to inventory levels and order activity. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure orders are fulfilled as expected. Assist with returns, exchanges, or adjustments, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. Support general administrative duties, including data entry, documentation, and record keeping.

Qualifications Required:

Prior experience in the optical industry Strong knowledge of optical products, materials, and terminology. Previous experience in customer service, order coordination, or inventory support. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with order/inventory systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
